According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), herd immunity occurs when a large portion of a community (known colloquially as “the herd) becomes immune to a disease, making its spread from person to person highly unlikely. As a result, the entire community becomes protected — not just those who are immune.

With this definition in mind, we are thrilled to report that due to the coordinated and steadfast efforts of our team members, we have reached herd immunity here at CreekView! As part of our ongoing efforts to do our part to beat COVID-19, we will continue to host periodic onsite vaccine clinics for new residents and staff.

As we move forward, the health and safety of our residents and staff continue to remain our number one priority. CreekView is thoughtfully continuing the phased re-opening of venues and activities throughout our community. Examples include socially distant communal dining, indoor and outdoor fitness classes, and varied forms of visitation options, including outdoor visits, seven days a week.

With springtime upon us, we carry with us renewed hopes and dreams – not just for the containment of COVID-19 and a return to normalcy, but for a better, brighter future for our community in every way.
